Fortis Visio provides consultancy in the field of environmental protection and management. Consultations can have a different subject and focus: new investment plans, changes to existing operations, guidance on legal requirements and on applicable legislative changes relevant to the client’s line of business, introduction and application of good practices, interpretation of and opinions on specific cases, working meetings to discuss environmental protection issues and topics, and more. Consultancy can also be provided as a subscription service, depending on the client’s activities and needs. Some of the activities that subscription services may include are listed below.

Subscription services

• Monitoring changes in environmental legislation and promptly notifying the client of changes affecting its activities;
• Preparation of ongoing and periodic statements and reports (internal and to the competent authorities);
• Assistance with the proper conduct of the company’s self-monitoring;
• Guidance on meeting legal requirements in terms of their practical application and the proper keeping of the documentation required for the activity;
• Periodic checks to ensure compliance with all legal requirements in the preparation of the supporting environmental documentation that the client is obliged to keep;

Audits

Fortis Visio offers comprehensive environmental audits of enterprises to assess compliance with the applicable environmental legislation and the resulting national and international regulations. The audit is an inspection, evaluation and analysis of the state of processes in an enterprise with regard to compliance with environmental protection standards and rules, documented in the form of a report. Measures, recommendations and approaches for solving problems are proposed, and an action plan is drawn up to improve the conditions under which the activity is carried out. This provides information for assessing the compliance of an enterprise’s activity with legal requirements and the obligations to be met, as well as opportunities to improve resource efficiency so as to reduce costs and improve the working environment.
