Biodiversity Conservation
Biodiversity is the living component of the environment, which is why activities for its conservation are so important. Environmental legislation has established a number of mechanisms for this through the relevant procedures and control by the competent authorities.
For our team, caring for biodiversity is both a priority and a cause. Some of the activities we carry out for its conservation and restoration are the following:
- Preparation and implementation of biodiversity monitoring plans;
- Reports on the implementation of biodiversity monitoring;
- Organisation and conduct of field surveys for mapping and monitoring of various plant and animal species and natural habitat types;
- Preparation of action plans for plant and animal species;
- Preparation of management plans for protected areas and Natura 2000 sites;
- Preparation of notifications for investment proposals, plans and programmes;
- Preparation of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports for investment proposals;
- Preparation of Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA) reports for plans and programmes;
- Preparation of Appropriate Assessment reports on the compatibility of investment proposals, plans and programmes with the subject and conservation objectives of Natura 2000 sites.
