Waste Management Training

Fortis Visio will hold a training course on “NEW REQUIREMENTS OF THE WASTE MANAGEMENT ACT. MANAGEMENT OF INDUSTRIAL, HAZARDOUS AND CONSTRUCTION WASTE” on 25 April in Sofia. The aim of the training is to familiarise participants with the new and existing legal requirements and the resulting obligations related to waste management, and to provide practical guidance on applying the legislation in their day-to-day work.

We will present and explain the specifics of the current legal framework governing waste management, waste classification and reporting, the requirements for containers and sites for waste collection and storage, as well as for transport and treatment.
We will give examples from our practice and analyse real situations.
You will have the opportunity to ask questions and share cases you find difficult to resolve.

Persons responsible for the management and handling of industrial and hazardous waste on the premises of production enterprises and at waste management sites;
Participants in the construction and investment process: investors (contracting authorities), contractors (builders and demolition operators), designers, consultants, supervisors;
Persons carrying out waste management activities: transporters of construction waste; operators of facilities for preparation for recovery and recycling of construction waste; operators of sites for storage and treatment of construction waste; persons carrying out backfilling recovery operations.
